If you're in a highly regulated industry—healthcare, legal, financial services—don't skip the compliance step. Several general-purpose AI tools are not built for HIPAA or SEC environments. If your team is fewer than five people, be honest about implementation bandwidth. Most AI tools require someone to own the rollout and iterate on it.
