Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: May 2, 2026
PushButton AI takes your privacy seriously. If we hold personal data about you — whether you provided it directly through our website, through Facebook Login or another Meta Platform integration, or through a booking, purchase, or workshop registration — you can request deletion of that data at any time. This page explains how.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your data, send an email to gus@pushbuttonai.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the following information:
- The full name you used when interacting with our Services
- The email address associated with your account, purchase, or registration
- The Facebook user ID (if applicable) used when logging in via Facebook
- A short description of the data you want deleted (or simply say "all of my data")
Confirmation Code
Within two (2) business days of receiving your request, we will reply with a unique confirmation code (e.g., PBAI-DEL-XXXXXX) acknowledging receipt. Keep this code for your records. You can quote it when checking on the status of your request.
What We Delete
Once we verify your request, we will delete the following categories of data we hold about you:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and company name
- Any messages, questions, or feedback you have sent us
- Booking records and scheduling preferences
- Workshop and event registrations
- Any account or profile data we created from a Facebook Login or other Meta Platform connection, including the Facebook user ID
- Marketing list subscriptions
What We May Retain
We may retain a limited subset of data after a deletion request where we are required by law to do so — most commonly, financial transaction records associated with a purchase. These records are retained by Stripe and our accounting systems for the period required by U.S. tax and financial-reporting laws (typically seven years), after which they are deleted in the ordinary course. We will tell you in our confirmation email if any of your data falls into this category.
Timeline
We complete deletion requests within thirty (30) days of receipt. For most requests we are able to complete deletion much faster — typically within a week. We will email you a final confirmation, referencing the confirmation code, when the deletion is complete.
Third-Party Services
We will delete the data we hold directly. Some third-party providers we use (Stripe, Vercel, Sanity, YouCanBook.me, Resend, Anthropic) may also hold copies of related records. Each of those providers has its own data-deletion policy. If you would like us to forward your deletion request to a specific provider on your behalf, please mention that provider in your email.
