You bought the AI tool. Nobody used it. $200/month quietly cancelled six months later.
That's not a failure of intelligence. That's a failure of fit.
Here's what the logistics industry is quietly figuring out — and it applies to your business too. The companies actually winning with AI aren't buying the flashiest tools. They're asking three simpler questions first: Can I see what the AI is actually doing? Does it connect to what we already use? Can my team trust it enough to rely on it daily?
Transparency. Integration. Trust. When all three are present, adoption happens naturally. When one is missing, you get a shelf-worn subscription nobody touches.
This changes how you should evaluate any AI solution. Not "what does it do?" but "will my team actually use it tomorrow?"
One thing you can do this week: Before demoing any new AI tool, ask the vendor to show you exactly how it explains its own recommendations. If they can't, walk away. That single filter eliminates 80% of the tools that look impressive but disappear into the background noise.
What's been your biggest blocker — the tools themselves, or getting your team to actually adopt them?
