You don't have an AI problem. You have an isolation problem.
That $200/month tool gathering dust isn't a failure of willpower. It's what happens when you try to figure this out alone, surrounded by vendors who sell and disappear.
Here's what caught my attention: business groups in South Korea are restructuring their SME cooperatives to function as shared AI implementation hubs. Not selling AI. Not training on AI theory. Actually helping small businesses identify one specific problem, find the right tool, and see results together.
That model works because no single business owner should carry this alone. The confusion isn't your fault — the market is genuinely fragmented. But peer groups and industry associations already around you could become your testing ground, your proof of concept, your early warning system before you spend serious money.
You don't need a consultant. You need a few business owners at your level who've already made one thing work.
Start there. Find two or three peers in your industry who've had a real AI win — not a pitch, a result. Ask them what problem it solved and what it cost. That conversation is worth more than any webinar.
What's been your biggest blocker — finding the right tool, or getting your team to actually use it?
